More gloss, more matt effect, better grip, stronger impregnation effect – the list of customer wishes could be extended at will. The adaptation of the products to a natural product such as leather takes time, experience, a lot of know-how and a laboratory in which extensive tests can be carried out with modern equipment.
In addition to the requirements that leather itself places on the products, it is also important during development to find the optimum mixture for the customer, taking into account the application technology. Sprays are preferred in some places, while other manufacturers are increasingly using creams.
In our laboratory we are constantly developing new products which meet the changing requirements of our customers but which are also necessary due to changing legislation (keyword: REACH). The interaction between customers who set the pace for what is desired, suppliers who present their knowledge and their new products, and the examination of ecological feasibility, not only results in products, but solutions that give our customers the security of using materials that comply with legal requirements not only now, but also in the future. We are happy to do without solvents and develop aqueous systems.
